Meet the lady behind the lettering

call me Courtney, Courts, Courtney Ann

Lettering is just the beginning. What started with lettering signs for my best friend's wedding in 2019 has grown into a creative business that takes me from wedding stationery to brand activations, live events, engraving, hot foiling, embossing and everything in between. I'm (kind of) a St. Louis native, newly married and endlessly curious about what I can put my own spin on next. I love the details - the unexpected ones, the slightly over-the-top ones, and especially the ones that make someone say, "Wait, you made that?" If there's a way to make an experience feel more personal, I'm probably already thinking about it.

my own wedding to my Willy - a tiny ceremony, a not tiny reception and approximately 400 personalized details

big bev girl and have a variation of three on me at all times. Water, Mexican Coke, coffee, raspberry lemonade, margarita, etc.

Perfect Saturday?

Tower Grove Farmer's market for breakfast fried rice, long walk with Will, shopping, afternoon cocktail, dinner at home

Where Do you go for date night?

Stews, Good Company, Del Bono, Taco Buddha, Kenny's Upstairs, Jeni’s

What’s your go-to coffee order?

Vanilla iced latte with oat milk, hopefully with some coffee cake.

What do you use to write those perfect, gorgeous names?

a brush and ink are the key to my happiness, but I’ll use whatever is best for the surface

How many cars have you stolen on accident?

okay, is this a roast? just the one.

How many candy varieties are currently on your nightstand?

I don't live the candy life anymore :(

Favorite things to do when you’re not writing?

morning trips to the zoo with Will, try out new coffee shops, do small projects around the house, start a new (old) show, dance in our kitchen, hop on an airplane, support STL sports, eat somewhere new
